In a major disaster
that affects
the entire community, help may not come right away.
Listen to local radio
stations for emergency information. In general,
remember to ask for help if you need assistance
or offer help if you are able. Part of the reward
of living in Plumas County is that people are willing,
able and eager to help. Check on your neighbors
who may have trouble with mobility, can’t
shovel snow themselves or may be afraid because
they are alone.
